Keyboard is one of the most important parts of a computer as we depend on it to enter data. A standard keyboard has a total of 84 or 121 keys. It has special functions keys that can be programmed to perform specific tasks besides multimedia keys for quick access and function. Recently ergonomic split keyboard has been developed which has been designed to reduce finger fatigue and enhance speed. Next comes the monitor which is the most important form of output. It is technically known as the monitor display image or data using color and screen resolution. For different purposes like graphic or accounting purposes different types of monitors can be used. The printer is also an important output device. It enables the computer to put its data on to paper in color as well as black  and white. Common types include ink jet, bubble jet, dot matrix and laser printers.
